Eamonn is a native of Kilmaine, Co. Mayo and comes from a well-known musical family. For the last 20 years he has been involved in every facet of music education in Connaught and comes with vast experience and a history of high achievement.
He taught second level Music in Davitt College for eight years and while there he acted as Producer and Musical Director for their highly successful and acclaimed annual school musical. He is also a certified state examiner in Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate Music.
Eamonn is a musician of note and plays piano and drums with folk collective ‘Vickers Vimy’. Their album ‘Atlas of Hearts’ was playlisted by Rte Radio 1 and was co-produced, recorded and arranged by him.
He is also a graduate of DCU/M.D.I and studied Jazz performance and theory under Ronan and Conor Guilfoyle, achieving distinction.
