Sinead graduated from St Angelas College, Sligo in 1994 with a B Ed in Home Economics and Biology. She worked with Co Louth VEC for a few years and in 1998 joined the teaching staff of Moyne College Ballina where she taught mainstream Home Economics and Science and also Post Leaving Certificate Childcare and Nursing Studies. In 2022 Moyne College PLC merged with Mayo College of Further Education. Sinead currently teaches a range of subjects which include Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, Care of the Older Person, Safety and Health at Work, Retail Selling, Word Processing, Reception Skills and Communications. She enjoys running and mountain climbing in her spare time.
