Sinéad studied History of Art and Archaeology at undergraduate level and went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Irish Art and Architecture at University College Dublin. She has over twenty years of teaching experience at various institutions including the National Gallery of Ireland, Newman House and UCD, History of Art Department. Sinead has practised as a professional painter and more recently as a fine art printmaker. She established her own print studio in 2008 and is a member of both West Ink and Wright Artists’ groups. Her work is represented in private and public collections and she regularly exhibits in various group shows including the RHA Annual Show.
Sinéad joined the staff of WCFE in 2007 and is presently teaching Printmaking, History and Appreciation of Art and Design, Fine Art Photography, Scriptwriting and Work Experience modules.
In her spare time Sinéad loves nothing more than spending time with her family, going on long walks, cycles, exploring the great outdoors or curled up with a good book!
