Ceramics Summer School 2025

Day 1- Tuesday 15th July 10-4pm (hand building techniques)

Day 2 – Wednesday 16th July 10-4pm (leather hard work, slip design and introduction to the potters wheel)

Day 3 – Friday 1st August 12-4pm (glazing final pieces)

In this relaxed course, you will be introduced to a number of different hand-building and decorative techniques in clay and get an introduction to throwing clay on the potters wheel.

By the end of the course students will have two or 3 finished and glazed pieces. Note that if you can not make the final glazing day, the teacher will be able to glaze for you, ready to pick up at the end of August.

This course is suitable for both beginners and more practiced potters.  Those with more experience will be able to work on their own projects, at their own pace.
