Alice
The Nursing Studies course here in CCFE is a fantastic opportunity to explore whether pursuing nursing is the right option for you, without the commitment of a four-year degree. I have found it to be a thoroughly immersive experience that not only focuses on theoretical components, but also the care skills needed to gain employment as a Healthcare Assistant. This course has both opened doors that will allow me to further my education and employment opportunities. All of the teachers are welcoming, extremely supportive, and want their students to succeed. I have thoroughly enjoyed this year and would recommend anyone that has an interest in working within the healthcare sector to consider taking this course.
There are no fees to study this course.
A uniform is required consisting of a College Healthcare Tunic which can be ordered through the College. Prices for items ordered through the College are reviewed annually. Please note that First Aid Responder and Patient Manual Handling, Lifting & Moving courses are provided by a registered training institute and prices are reviewed annually. Vaccination for Hepatitis B needs to be arranged by the student at their own cost.
