Course Outline

The purpose of this award is to enable the learner to independently and effectively carry out a range of information, administrative and service functions in tourism-related enterprises or to progress to further or higher education and training

Award

Successful completion of this course will result in a QQI Level 5 Certificate in Tourism with Business 5M5011.

 

Course Duration

This course can be completed over one or two years; it is a fulltime course and runs from September to May.

Applicants must have a motivation to learn, an interest in the subject and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a moderate range of knowledge, skills and competencies relevant to the course, be able to work with responsibility and demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative.
