Aine joined the Staff of Mayo College of Further Education and Training) in 2003. She teaches Psychology, Interpersonal and Group Behaviour and Work Experience but her main role is Career Guidance and Counselling. A UCD Graduate she holds a BA in Psychology and Philosophy, H. Dip.in Education, and a H.Dip.in Career Guidance and Counselling, NUI Maynooth.
She is the Course co-ordinator of Pre-University Primary and Post Primary Teaching and Pre-University Arts. She co-ordinates, ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages), Learning Support for Maths and various Student Support Schemes.. Guided by a student-centered philosophy, she is committed to helping learners achieve their full potential.
In her spare time, she enjoys walking, travelling, and tackling ‘easy’ DIY projects around the house. She likes going horse-racing during the summer holidays and is a keen GAA supporter.
